Religion and its relationship to the psychological adjustment

The study aimed to verify the existence of a relationship between religiosity and psychological adjustment and the existence of differences attributable to demographic variables such as economic and educational level.
The problem revolved around the following question: Is there a relationship between religiosity and psychological adjustment?
The descriptive, correlational approach has been adopted. The study was conducted on a sample of 1,072 individuals of Lebanese society, of both sexes (males and females), whose ages ranged between (20 – 70) years.
The researcher used the personal data form, the religiosity scale by Nahed Fathi, and the psychological adjustment scale by Nihad Aqilan. The results revealed a positive significant relationship between religiosity and psychological adjustment. There is also a positive significant relationship between educational level and psychological adjustment, and a positive significant relationship between economic level and psychological adjustment.
