The period when the Al-Furat family took over the ministry considered one of the distinguished stages in Abbasid history. It extended between the years 286 – 320 AH /899 –932 AD, when this family emerged in administrative and economic work followed by political work. It was one of the most important families in which power gathered, ministry, and the prowess of administration. the members of this family were ministers, teachers, writers, and military commanders, and they excelled in various sciences. Among the most prominent figures of this family was Ali Ibn Al-Furat, who held the position of writing and managing collections, and strove hard to reach at all costs the highest political positions in the Abbasid state, and this is what it led to the achievement of political and economic stability, in a period characterized by a lot of unrest, unrest and strife, as a result of the Turkish military leaders control over the reins of affairs in the Abbasid state, and even their success in controlling the position of the caliphate, until they became the once who appointed and removed caliphs, and the competition between officials and senior statesmen. On political and military positions in the country, in addition to the economic crises that the country was exposed to and the inability of the state entity to secure the soldiers financial entitlements, which led them to rebel and disobey from time to time, demanding their delayed livelihoods, The Al-Furat family was the guarantor of achieving stability in the country.
