Abstract

Ibn Al-Wardi (died. 749 A.H) was known as a poet covered by asceticism and piety from the poets of the eighth century AH, and his poem is one of the most beautiful guiding poems, as it included legal, moral, social, political advice, etiquette, judgment, and daily experiences in seventy-seven verses with a distinct poetic sense, so this research came to study this poem An analytical study to show the artistic and objective values ​​by linking the rhythm with the meaning to reveal the connotations that resulted from it.

The research was based on a preliminary and two sections. The preliminary included defining the concept of poetic rhythm. The first topic was devoted to the study of (external rhythm) in terms of weight and rhyme, while the second topic came to study (internal rhythm) in terms of repetition and vocal concentration.
