The ruling on intention in tayammum - a comparative jurisprudential study

This research addresses the ruling on intention in tayammum by comparing it between the schools of jurisprudence. This is because tayammum is linked to one of the pillars of Islam, which is prayer, so it deserves to be given attention and its rulings taken care of, in addition to the need for Muslims to know the jurisprudential rulings related to this topic, which is built on the basis of The Book of God, and the authentic Sunnah; Let man worship his Lord with insight.
Therefore, the need to collect the ruling on intention in tayammum in one study was important and necessary, especially since some people may be harmed by using water, either due to illness, or severe cold, and there is nothing to heat the water with, or because it is not available, or something like that, so it is worthy of collecting various issues. The intention in tayammum, and its study in jurisprudence, to make it easy to refer to it and benefit from it.
Necessity required dividing the research into an introduction, seven sections, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references. The first section dealt with the definition of tayammum linguistically, terminologically, and its legitimacy. The second section dealt with the ruling on intention and a comparison between the schools of jurisprudence. The third section included the ruling on tayammum with the intention of teaching others or removing the sin. The research reviewed the fourth section regulates each school of thought regarding what one intends to do with tayammum. The fifth section specializes in dealing with if he intends to do tayammum, the obligation of tayammum. The sixth section explains what is permitted by tayammum in terms of obligatory and voluntary tayammum. The seventh section explained the levels of intention in tayammum according to the jurists of the schools of jurisprudence.
