Abstract

Artificial intelligence contributes to enhancing security and stability in the political process through intelligent monitoring of websites and social media platforms to detect extremist content, identify individuals involved, and track their financiers; analyzing images and videos to identify suspicious activities from internal or external sources; and building predictive models from a strategic perspective that help in anticipating potential risks.

In order to build a consensual political government, specialized institutions are working to update and develop artificial intelligence technologies to improve their ability to detect and respond to threats. These systems use advanced techniques in big data analysis and extracting behavioral patterns that may indicate hostile activity.

This research employs a foresight-based analysis to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) techniques can be used to monitor indicators of political instability analyze political discourse, and predict the likelihood of conflict escalation or containment. It also examines the structural and ethical challenges associated with using these techniques in the Iraqi political arena, including issues of data quality, algorithmic bias, and digital sovereignty.
