Abstract

Modern methods used by teachers are considered the most important process for conveying knowledge and creating a loving relationship between teacher and student. The primary goal of the teaching process is to develop students' intellectual and scientific abilities, awaken their curiosity, and find solutions to the many issues and problems that hinder the prosperity and development of nations. Geography has now become a prominent subject in social and economic cognitive development at all levels, and it has developed distinct teaching methods.

Modern methods of teaching geography rely on the use of technology, active learning, and linking content to real-life situations. Teaching methods have witnessed significant development recently, thanks to technological advances and changes in scientific curricula. Modern methods aim to enhance and strengthen students' ability to understand the complex relationships between humans and the environment, and to broaden their awareness of global issues such as climate change, population distribution, and biodiversity. Technology has become a key tool in these approaches, allowing students to interact with geography content in a more realistic way. Geography teaching methods have also evolved to include modern strategies aimed at developing thinking and increasing student interaction. These methods rely on collaborative learning and active strategies, making the subject more engaging and relevant to daily life.
