Abstract

This research aims to know the role of emotional intelligence in enhancing organizational immunity. The researcher distributed (110) questionnaires to employees at the Institute of Fine Arts for Girls - Nineveh. The number of returned questionnaires was (100), all of which were valid for statistical analysis, with a response rate of (90%). They were analyzed using the statistical program (Spss) in addition to the statistical program (Excel). The importance of the research came due to the scarcity of research that tried to identify and know the nature of the relationship between the study variables (emotional intelligence, organizational immunity). This research also attempted to address a real problem that directly affects the education sector in Iraq. The presentation of previous literature showed the existence of a knowledge gap to explain the nature of the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational immunity in general and at the Institute of Fine Arts for Girls - Nineveh in particular. Through the analysis, it was shown that there is a relationship of influence between the research variables, which is a direct relationship of influence between (emotional intelligence and organizational immunity). From here, we conclude that developing the skills of employees at the Institute of Fine Arts for Girls with emotional intelligence will lead to improving the ability to deal with pressures and with flexibility, and as a result, enhance the institute's organizational immunity. In addition to the ability to recognize and control employee emotions in order to achieve success and improve job and leadership performance effectively at the Institute of Fine Arts - Nineveh, it will also have a major role in enhancing organizational immunity, and emotional intelligence will help to successfully transition during the crisis response period and recover from it by integrating intelligence into the daily work of the institute, which is what the research results showed, as the research reached a set of important results that can help the organization under study, the research sample, in enhancing its acquired organizational immunity to face various future organizational challenges.
