Psychological Stress among Special Education Teachers

Abstract:
This study aimed to shed light on one of the most prominent challenges faced by special education teachers, and also to know the differences in levels of psychological stress among special education teachers. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of 165 specialized education teachers in Akkar Governorate, whose ages ranged between (21 - 63) years. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used a psychological stress scale that she had prepared. The validity and reliability coefficient of the tool was verified. The results showed that there were significant differences in the level of psychological stress among special education teachers in Akkar Governorate, varying according to their ages. The results indicated that the level of psychological stress among special education teachers in Akkar Governorate decreases with age.
